The Intuit Sales team in Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group  is focused on bringing together the diverse products and services we offer small/mid-market business owners, and building towards our Better Together, AI-driven, expert platform vision where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, which includes our Money offerings. 

Our Money offering vision is to be a key part of our Intuit small/mid-market business platform where customers can take and make payments with ease while connecting across the platform to provide real-time business intelligence and recommendations to help businesses grow. We are looking for an experienced Sales leader with deep business expertise in the fintech space and a strong track record of leading transformational change who can help us win in this space.

The VP, Money Sales will build and lead a full money sales team that will partner across our other sales teams - SMB, Mid-Market and Accountant - to create an accelerated growth plan for our money products to ensure we significantly increase our money products penetration rates within each audience. The VP Money Sales will also partner with our Money offering teams to help provide feedback from customers/prospects to influence and improve our offerings to increase overall penetration/growth. In addition, the VP of Money Sales will partner with Marketing to develop a holistic, cross-channel, orchestrated money GTM plan that will enable the increase in awareness, opportunities, sales and usage of Money offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and strategy for how to win with our money offerings across all audiences - SMB, Mid-Market, Accountant; align cross-functional partners against operational plans, playing a key role in product and GTM for these offerings
  • Build and lead a virtual/inside fintech sales team of >100 sellers that consistently meets and exceeds revenue goals
  • Develop sales motions that maximize coverage and, ultimately, increases money offering penetration rates across the Intuit customer base
  • Accelerate revenue and ROI through the scalable delivery of the GTM strategy
  • Attract, develop and retain a high-performing sales team with strong fintech sales backgrounds focused on building deep customer relationships
  • Advance sales capabilities needed to growing payments penetration rates from xx% to yy%
  • Improve conversion rates across by xx% through modernizing fintech sales processes
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans in response to sales performance, pipeline and forecast data
  • Design and execute a modern sales playbook to unlock sales productivity
  • Refine internal processes, tools, systems and metrics to ensure  operational excellence
  • Effectively balance domain expertise and leadership capability to drive impact and results

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS /enterprise fintech sales leadership or similar role within a B2B environment serving SMB/Mid-Market customers
  • Expertise in disruptive selling techniques (such as Challenger sales) that has led to successful replacement of incumbent fintech (payment/billpay) solutions 
  • Expertise in digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, measurement platforms, technology trends, customer buying patterns and budgeting 
  • Strong sales and business development expertise, with a solid understanding of sales disciplines, enterprise sales and account management
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth
  • Experience leading large, distributed sales teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates E2E thinking with multi-disciplinary experience & assignments
