Responsibilities

  • Set and drive the product strategy across a portfolio of indirect tax domains, ensuring alignment with Intuit's overall vision while fostering a team culture that promotes learning and executional excellence.
  • Balance short-term versus long-term customer outcomes across multiple product teams while maintaining focus on strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Tax Research and Engineering teams to prioritize and execute product roadmaps and investment strategies that align with Intuit's overall goals and deliver delightful user experiences.
  • Coach teams in experiment design and hypothesis-driven initiatives, establishing a framework for data-backed decision making across multiple product areas.
  • Foster strong relationships with users to gather feedback and ensure the platform delivers substantial value and meets market demands through exceptional user experiences.
  • Create and manage product strategy and backlog prioritization frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple teams, balancing customer value, user experience, development effort, and strategic importance.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing and Customer Support to maximize user adoption, satisfaction, and user experience with new feature releases.
  • Effectively engage with and influence senior leadership team (SLT) members while driving alignment across various stakeholder groups.
  • Provide balanced leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model.
  • Raise the bar for PM talent on the team and within the local PM community through mentorship and coaching.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a product manager within a fast-moving technology-driven organization, with demonstrated success leading multiple teams or complex product portfolios
  • Experience with financial management or accounting is a strong benefit.
  • Track record of developing and executing product strategies across a portfolio of domains that deliver extraordinary customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams in making data-backed decisions and setting high metric goals that push teams forward.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing product teams while fostering a culture of learning and executional excellence.
  • Passion for seeking deep understandings of customer needs and turning these insights into a compelling vision that drives solutions that solve important requirements for small businesses.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders through compelling customer data narratives.
  • Thrive working in a matrixed environment while influencing and developing strong partnerships internally and externally.
  • Clear, concise, and compelling communication skills (inclusive of business writing and presentations).
  • Maturity, strong sense of what's right, ability to negotiate, ability to influence, leadership, and data-driven decision making are essential qualities to succeed in this role.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $226,000 - $305,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
