Job Overview
Come join the Intuit Enterprise Builders team as a Senior Staff Solutions Engineer. As Intuit expands its footprint in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segment, you will be part of the group enabling the product to be able to expand into various industries by leveraging AI and relevant technology frameworks. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges that block new customer acquisition and onboarding. You will be crucial in helping Intuit’s largest, most sophisticated customers solve their most pressing business challenges by leveraging the Intuit Enterprise Suite to its full capability and crafting tailored solutions, enabling our partners and clients to thrive in the digitized financial environment.
Responsibilities
Develop an in-depth understanding of the Intuit Enterprise Suite architecture, its components, and the business problems it solves.
Evaluate partner and customer technical requirements to design and deliver tailored solutions that integrate seamlessly with their existing systems.
Collaborate with enterprise sales and pre-sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Dive deep into system specifications, capacity planning, and technology stacks to ensure the effective and efficient use of Intuit Enterprise Suite.
Identify and solve high-impact engineering challenges that affect new enterprise customer acquisition and onboarding.
Design and prototype custom or reusable solution patterns to address gaps in product capability or integration.
Lead and facilitate discussions on complex customer deals, system integrations, assessing compatibility, acknowledging limitations, and explaining technical intricacies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Product Management—to translate business needs into robust and scalable technology solutions.
Provide input to Product Management on the most pressing product gaps and roadmap prioritization.
Educate and guide sales teams on technological capabilities and constraints to ensure integrity and trust in customer interactions.
Create documentation, reference architectures, and onboarding playbooks to support repeatability and scale.
Support post-sale handoff to implementation or customer success teams, ensuring continuity and clarity in the solution architecture.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or sales engineering roles.
Proficiency in cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure and an understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong technical background with experience designing and integrating APIs or enterprise software systems.
Experience with programming languages such as Python and Java.
Experience working in cross-functional environments, especially with product, engineering, and sales teams
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, security, scalability, and performance best practices.
Thorough understanding of DevOps, CI/CD methodologies, and agile development practices.
Strong knowledge of API frameworks and microservices architecture.
Exceptional problem-solving with a hands-on approach to resolving engineering blockers.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proven track record of working with large enterprise customers and leading high-impact technical projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting technical sales cycles or solutioning for pre-sales engagements.
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Postman, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD systems.
Understanding of compliance, data privacy, and industry-specific requirements (e.g., fintech, construction, etc.).
Experience in B2B or SaaS enterprise environments.
Experience with web services with REST & GraphQL & various industry authentication standards.
Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is highly desirable.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
