About This Role
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a remote customer-facing team of tax preparation professionals. You will leverage your extensive experience in preparing individual returns for Canadian clients and provide guidance to your team to ensure their success. As a highly skilled problem-solver with strong business acumen, you will effectively communicate to team members with varying skill levels and personalities. This is a fully remote position that requires no travel. At the end of the season we offer opportunities to work with us again for following seasons.
- 2+ years of experience managing and leading a remote customer facing team and/or 2+ years of experience managing a team of tax preparation professionals
- Extensive prior experience preparing individual returns for Canadian clients
- Understanding of how to manage a team and provide them with guidance in being successful
- Willing to work hours outside of a normal schedule as needed during our peak season from February to early May
- Able to effectively communicate to multiple skill levels and personalities
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French + read, write, speak) considered a strong asset

- Vous serez mis au défi de créer une culture de haute performance qui habilite les experts en impôts à fournir un service de classe mondiale à nos clients grâce à un mentorat rigoureux, un coaching et une gestion de la performance.
- Vous utiliserez notre logiciel de communication vidéo de pointe pour interagir avec les clients, les experts en impôts et les partenaires interfonctionnels, et vous documenterez vos interactions pour maintenir des dossiers précis.
- In this role, you will lead a team of Tax Experts that will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. Your team will accelerate our goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World by providing tax guidance and reviewing personal tax returns for customers completing their tax return on their own, full service return preparation, and managing product/software inquiries.
- You will be challenged to create a high performance culture that empowers Tax Experts to provide world-class service to our customers through rigorous mentoring, coaching, and Performance Management.
- You will use our state of the art video communication software to interact with customers, Tax Experts, and cross-functional partners, and you will document your interactions to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications

Qualifications – Atouts :
- Maîtrise bilingue démontrée en anglais et en français.
- Expérience dans la préparation des déclarations de revenus personnelles (T1).
- Expérience dans la préparation des déclarations d'impôts des entreprises (T2).
- Expérience dans la préparation des déclarations d'impôts du Québec (TP1).

- Expertise fiscale – Démontre une compréhension fondamentale des lois et des concepts fiscaux. Capacité avérée à rechercher des opportunités d'apprentissage supplémentaires pour accroître les connaissances, se renseigner sur les changements d'une année à l'autre et à la capacité d'aider à former les autres.
- Communication efficace – Influence et enseigne aux équipes directes comment fournir un service de haute qualité. Utilise des compétences en communication écrite et verbale pour fournir un service exceptionnel lors des échanges avec les clients. Pratique l'écoute active pour développer l'empathie et comprendre les points de difficulté des clients.
- Résolution de problèmes complexes – Fait preuve d'expertise dans la résolution de problèmes complexes et sans précédent pour le client, même dans un environnement changeant et dynamique. Exploite les sources de données et plusieurs outils pour diagnostiquer les problèmes difficiles et anticiper les besoins futurs.
- Recherche / Ingéniosité – Démontre de la curiosité et un intérêt pour l'apprentissage continu. Intuit offre un programme de rémunération concurrentiel basé sur une approche de récompense liée à la performance. L’échelle salariale de base prévue pour ce poste est de 39,50 $/heure à 53,50 $/heure à l’Î.-P.-É., 39,50 $/heure à 53,50 $/heure en C.-B., et 39,50 $/heure à 53,50 $/heure en Nouvelle-Écosse. Asset Qualifications:
- Demonstrated bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Experience preparing Personal Tax (T1) Returns.
- Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) Returns.
- Experience preparing Quebec Tax (TP1) Returns.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is PEI $39.50/hour - $53.50/hour, BC $39.50/hour - $53.50/hour, Nova Scotia $39.50/hour - $53.50/hour This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
