Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Staff Product Manager to lead our Data Protection product strategy within the CyberCRAFT Product Management organization. In this role, you will be the driving force behind defining and delivering innovative solutions that safeguard our customers' and employees' sensitive data. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of security and compliance in an ever-evolving threat landscape. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager 3, PM Shield.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Protection, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Conduct thorough market research, customer analysis, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and potential threats.
  • Translate customer needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and use cases.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest data protection technologies, regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and industry best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for data protection, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving real-world data protection challenges.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data protection, privacy, or security products.
  • Deep understanding of data protection principles, technologies, and best practices (e.g., encryption, data masking, access control, data loss prevention).
  • Experience with cloud-based data protection solutions and technologies is a plus.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to define and launch successful products, ideally in the data protection domain.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Equivalent experience will be considere.
