About Intuit Customer Success (ICS):
Customer Success is driving Intuit’s transformation to become an “AI-driven expert platform”, innovating how customers access expertise and digitizing the services industry. These customer experiences are delivered through offerings such as TurboTax Live and QuickBooks Live, and extend to how customers access help and support through their entire journey, across all of our offerings. Further, Customer Success is responsible for delivering an outstanding experience to our experts – the people on our platform who deliver advice and support to customers.

Responsibilities
Role Description:
As a Customer Success (CS), Business Data Analyst Intern on our Expert Network Planning team, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team of winners with a passion for innovation and technology, helping to revolutionize the way the world does business.
The vision of the Expert Network Planning team is to be the best-in-class planning platform that enables high velocity, high impact decision making for optimizing cost, customer experience and expert experience to give the competitive edge to Intuit Customer Success organization. In this role, you will be a part of the Demand Planning / Forecasting team where your focus will be to help design and optimize planning tools (excel, internal world class forecasting tools, g-sheets based etc.) to improve forecasting accuracy and enable decision making for high pace business and changing business needs.
Specific responsibilities and projects will be assigned at the beginning of the internship and may include:
- Deliver end to end reporting suite for Workforce Management Planning function – standardized metrics but not One Size Fits All.
- Document and Visualize Forecasting funnel for an accurate representation of a customer journey through an intuit product lifecycle – Reporting Suite to measure actual performance for each metric in this funnel/
- Build a robust and scalable documentation for our current and future demand planning processes in a centralized place enabling 10x growth in our systems.
- Define, Document and Implement a standardized intake form for the demand planning team to offer “Forecasting as a Service” for internal (and external) customers - with details on meaning and impact of each input in our forecast.
- Collaborate, lead, and execute analytics projects end-to-end. Translate complex business requirements into a roadmap with key milestones and deliverables
- Aptitude in the key steps of analysis: requirement gathering, data acquisition, advanced analysis, presenting recommendations, implementing solutions
- Perform duties that involve data discovery, cleansing, synthesizing, and building advanced models to generate insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams including those within Customer Success, as well as Finance, Product, Marketing and Engineering to understand customer experience
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in MS in MIS, MS in Analytics or Data Science, MS in Industrial Engineering, MS in Statistics, MS Operations Research or related field and graduating no sooner than December 2025
- 1-2 years of relevant full-time work experience
- Must reside in the U.S. during the summer internship program (see location below)
- Experienced and comfortable applying appropriate statistical mathematical techniques (academic or practical)
- Experience with speech and text analytics
- Experience with (or passion for) Planning Analytics (e.g. Inventory Management, Occupancy Optimization, Allocation Management System, and/or Demand Planning)
- Outstanding communication (i.e., verbal and written)
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $53.62/hr.. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
