Job Overview

Intuit is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Professional Development Leader to shape the strategy for our Intuit Academy, from defining the course offerings to enhancing the technology offering to optimizing the funnel from learner to candidate for expert positions at Intuit. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and be able to work closely with subject matter experts to develop innovative training solutions and a coordinated tech experience that meet the needs of our learners and the business for today and tomorrow, inclusive of building an experience that sets a standard for the Tax, Accounting and Bookkeeping industry. In addition, a keen understanding of how to attract learners and drive conversion is critical to success in this role.

At Intuit we are focused on Powering Prosperity and this position plays a key part in the development of career path development for the Expert Network.  This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy development for Intuit Academy - how to grow, scale and optimize throughout the program lifecycle for learners.
  • Leading the overall initiative to develop our professional services career path capabilities from learner to hire.
  • Management of on-demand training programs, live workshops and conferences
  • Understanding of instructional design theory and implementation best practices
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools and experience with eLearning platforms
  • Proven ability to complete a full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
  • Develop curriculum roadmap to ensure learners are receiving the best in class domain education with ways to provide practice and feedback.
  • Measure the success of training, course offerings and ongoing program outcomes.
  • Establish scalable certification and credentialing programs that meet business and industry needs.
  • Continuously improve program content and delivery methods to enhance the learner experience.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with community colleges and universities to incorporate Intuit Academy in curriculum development.
  • Establish relationships with communities to drive awareness of Intuit Academy.
  • Partner with business leaders to meet the supply demands for rapidly changing business needs.
  • Partner with product management leaders to establish platform technology requirements.
  • Regular evaluation and presentation on performance data throughout the Academy funnel and optimizing throughout.
  • Ensure that all programs comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience demonstrating ability to influence and impact people at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience establishing strategic internal and external partnerships across multiple domains.
  • Experience assessing and managing external vendors.
  • Experience building relationships with communities and institutions to drive mutual benefit.
  • Strong assessment, prioritization, and analysis skills. Ability to set and manage expectations.
  • Experience managing data driven outcomes.
  • Strong project management experience, exhibiting solid end to end thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in content development, incorporating SME (subject matter expert) content to design engaging on- demand and live training, and events.
  • Coordinating multiple high impact/value adding events in high school and college settings.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $162000 - 219000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
