Come join the TurboTax Marketing Strategy Team as a Group Marketing Manager.

We are looking for a Group Marketing Manager to lead go to market and product marketing planning and execution for our flagship consumer tax experiences. This individual will have a strong track record of success in “player/coach” roles - bringing strong strategic skills, seamless cross-functional partnership, and executive-level influence to bear, grounded in customer empathy, with a bias for speed and results.

The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking, self-starter, who has solid experience translating consumer insights into powerful product and marketing experiences. This leader will create strong partnerships with Advertising, Design, Analytics, Product Management, and Finance. To be successful you will bring a mix of strategic vision, communication skills, collaborative mindset, and GTM launch experience — having worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments crafted to move with velocity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage go to market planning and implementation across both acquisition and retention
  • Leverage customer insights, competitive understanding, and analytics data to unlock growth opportunities while applying the right level of strategic rigor to guide key decisions
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product offering value proposition to influence product roadmaps and create clear and differentiated consumer messaging and experiences
  • Translates customer/marketplace needs into critical few strategic product and marketing priorities in partnership with the product team
  • Develop clear messaging and creative briefs that translate customer insights into impactful benefits and reasons to believe
  • Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B testing to roll-out experiences and creative that deliver improved business outcomes
  • Establish metrics for success and actively analyze business data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results
  • Partners with brand and ad teams to define integrated offline and online communication strategies and applying multi-channel strategies across the portfolio
  • Holds team and self-accountable for generating and activating big customer insights to drive growth
  • Actively leads and teaches across own organization; Asks the right questions to inspire and challenge the organization to test and learn and champions a climate that values learning

Qualifications

  • 10+ years professional experience in marketing or product marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
  • Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver amazing outcomes
  • Solid written and verbal skills to communicate program objectives, recommendations, and results to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, initiative and the desire to drive significant, measurable performance results
  • Track record of making principled, data-based business decisions balanced with experienced judgment
  • Proven success in turning deep customer understanding into insightful market strategy and execution that drives strong business results

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $191000-258000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
