Job Overview
Join a world-class marketing team as a Marketing Manager 2, Web Operations in the Consumer Group business unit. TurboTax serves over 48M consumers and businesses with a full range of tax solutions from Do-It-Yourself to Full-Service. As TurboTax continues to expand our offerings to deliver our vision of “Getting Taxes Done for Everyone,” this vital people manager role is also a subject matter expert with demonstrated experience creating, launching, and managing web-based experiments and personalized user experiences using a CMS.
The ideal candidate has experience managing web authors and strives in a high-pace environment with established quality and governance. This role sits in the Consumer Group’s marketing operations team and requires strong working partnership with Marketing Strategy, Product Managers, Analytics, Design and Development teams to bring these web experiences to life.
Responsibilities
- Manage team that is responsible for executing go-to-market setup and maintenance of TurboTax experimentation across the TurboTax.com domain via Intuit’s experimentation, personalization, and content management platforms
- Partner and work cross-functionally with product, XD, engineering, analytics, and web operations teams to align on priorities and activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, support web operations peers in problem solving, validation of A/B test setup and execution of quality control activities
- Identify and problem-solve roadblocks and functional requirements to successful task completion, including liaising with the technical product development team and quality assurance completion
- Collaborate with XD resources to ensure designs fit within existing templates and components in addition to QA of pages using current web standards and best practices
- Provide and execute on SEO best practices, site mapping, user pathways, and information architecture
- Develop and execute processes to improve content quality, maintainability, and usability making sure both template driven pages and associated test experiences are compliant and accessible
- Vet requirements from marketing strategy, product managers, and other key stakeholders to accurately size project requests
- Comfortable managing multiple competing priorities in a deadline-sensitive environment to ensure that all work is completed according to department standards
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Bay Area California Pay: $170,000 - $230,000
Southern California Pay: $150,000 - 203,500
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in marketing experimentation software, content personalization methodologies, and customer data platforms. Direct hands-on experience with platforms such as Adobe Target, VWO, Optimizely, Salesforce, Twilio, etc.
- 5+ years of experience using Content Management Systems, and ability to run browser-based application testing and debugging. WordPress, Stackbit, or Adobe Experience Manager preferred
- Deep expertise and knowledge of Agile software development methodology, Project Management processes, and leveraging tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills, confident with management and able to clearly articulate thoughts and recommendations with attention to detail
- Hands on knowledge of UX, SEO and other factors that impact web conversions
- Skilled in CSS, HTML and JavaScript and creating UI experiences from Figma
- Effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to work across multiple creatives and stakeholders to manage components for web pages
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, business, or relevant field of study
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $170,000 - 230,000, Southern California $150,000 - 203,500.
