We are reimagining how our nearly 17,000 employees interface with our Global Business Services (GBS) team, to turn administrative tasks into employee delighters. In this role you will directly contribute to this effort by managing our projects aimed at simplifying everyday tasks, so our employees can focus more of their time on helping our customers.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with GBS leadership, PMO Leadership and the technology team to drive GBS projects forward, spanning process improvements, policy redefinitions, operational readiness and technology configurations and implementations. The individual in this role will need to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout Finance and Intuit and work as a team player. We are looking for a strategic, creative problem solver who can influence without direct authority, lead projects end-to-end, and deliver outcomes with speed and scale.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: Southern California $115,500 - 156,000

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects from planning through delivery, directing the project team, and influencing stakeholders
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their goals, mission and business drivers and provides continuity with those groups
  • Develop high-quality project management plans and work breakdowns, key milestones, and deliverables
  • Maintain the project plan while regularly communicating status, risks, and escalations to stakeholders
  • Prioritize, assign, and oversee the daily tasks and activities across project teams to accelerate the delivery of the most strategic work
  • Drive and support areas of improvement within the project in partnership with stakeholders
  • Direct and provide support, direction, and functional or technical expertise to the project team
  • Use defined and existing project framework best practices, tools, and templates

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years in Project Management at a technology company, with experience managing multiple concurrent complex and large software implementations
  • Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited intuition or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with Project Management tools such as Aha!, Jira, Google Sheets, and Smartsheet
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and expertise in establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Ability to develop and execute a successful project plan, anticipate challenges and proactively head off obstacles
  • Excellent communication skills across a variety of audiences including: technical, non-technical, and senior leadership
  • Experience with P2P systems (Coupa, Oracle eBiz, and Concur) and with back office finance operations and accounting
