You will leverage your AWS, GCP and cybersecurity experience in one of the largest SaaS cloud deployments in the world, creating proactive testing and assessment systems, keeping our millions of customers safe from adversaries, and performing the best work of your life!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working directly with internal customers to gather requirements for collection. ETL, and recall of large volumes of security data.
- Ability to collect, process, and create clean data on large volumes of security data to support key business outcomes
- Ability to breakdown and execute on high level initiatives and deliver on both technical and non technical outcomes.
- Capture requirements and use cases, stay abreast of industry best practices, share knowledge and experience, and apply cutting edge technologies and approaches
- Provide technical leadership and be a role model/coach to other software engineers pursuing technical career paths in engineering
- Provide/inspire innovations that fuel the growth of Intuit as a whole and generate creative ideas for automatically emulating emerging adversary activities
- Be comfortable with 80-90% of your day-to-day activities being hands-on coding
Qualifications
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in software development using Python
- 2+ years’ experience with web service (creating and consuming) with ReST, SOAP, or GraphQL APIs
- 1+ years of experience with UI frameworks like React, Backbone, and Angular (bonus)
- 2+ years cloud experience with AWS or GCP system design and architecture, including compute, storage, serverless compute, cloud native messaging, cloud native databases and warehouse options. (AWS preferred)
- Understanding of GCP BigQuery would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with database fundamentals including SQL, and schema design.
- An understanding of unit testing & Test-Driven Development
- Understanding of AI/ML would be an added advantage.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesos
- Fundamental understanding of basic cybersecurity vulnerabilities and attacks
- Strong communication skills and experience with Agile and Scrum SDLC; passionate about following industry best practices and collaboration
- Motivation to deeply understand customer problems and collaborate on solutions
- Self-starting attitude, love of learning, and desire to be a great team player
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $136,000 - 184,000, Southern California $122,500 - 165,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
