Job Overview

Intuit's Consumer Group (CG) is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses manage their taxes with ease and confidence. The group's vision is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their tax situation, can complete their taxes efficiently and access their money quickly. The Consumer Group is responsible for the development and management of TurboTax, a leading tax preparation software that supports both do-it-yourself and assisted modes of tax preparation. The group focuses on creating seamless and innovative tax filing experiences, leveraging AI and GenAI technologies to transform the process.

Come join the CG Program Management Office as a Staff Technical Program Manager. We are looking for creative problem solvers to serve as a program leaders, with responsibility for overall program delivery and success. Help the team continue to develop and manage our highest impact programs to accelerate our mission of powering prosperity around the world.

Responsibilities

Strives for Operational Excellence:

  • Deliver programs with high quality and speed
  • Drive areas for improvement and work with stakeholders to implement
  • Delivers on business and technical outcomes
  • Prepare and drive program roadmaps, involving multiple contributing teams and phases

Exhibits Boundaryless Leadership:

  • Partners across teams to uncover risks and dependencies, proactively escalates blockers and quickly determines the optimal paths to green.
  • Drive and clearly communicate strategy, plans, status, risks and issues to stakeholders
  • Build trust, understand escalation paths and facilitate change
  • Drives technical program management craft development, is viewed by peers as an expert. Coaches and mentors other technical program managers to do the best work of their lives

Technical:

  • Adept in the software development lifecycle and working across multiple technical domains
  • Able to ask the right questions to help identify technical gaps and facilitate decisioning process
  • Capable of deeply diving into subject matter and re-emerging to form an end-to-end blueprint for the program. Leverages AI capabilities to accelerate outcomes
  •  

Strategically Focused:

  • Influences the creation of the program strategy and deliver results as aligned with strategy
  • Prioritize across the portfolio and surfaces trade-offs and recommendations to stakeholders with own clear POV
  • Demonstrates end-to-end thinking: Bring all of the critical pieces together – strategy, business goals, design, execution, technology, and customer needs

Qualifications

  • Strong Program Management leadership experience, including 8 or more years leading medium-large sized technology focused programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, ability to influence at the director and VP level.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across teams in delivering the best outcome of programs
  • Strong technical aptitude, extensive knowledge of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycle experience in a technical discipline preferred or equivalent work experience
  • CSM, agile training and agile experience preferred
  • PMP or MBA strongly preferred

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $175,000 - $237,000, Colorado $155,500 - $210,000, Bay Area California $177,500 - 240,500, Southern California $165,500 - 224,000, Washington $163,000 - $220,500, Washington D.C. $155,500 - $210,000, Massachusetts $155,500 - $210,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
