Responsibilities
As an Associate Creative Director - Visual & Motion at Spring, you’ll join a dynamic creative team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of brand storytelling. We need your expertise in crafting visual systems, innovative digital experiences, motion languages, and brand campaigns that will set us apart and resonate with our diverse audience. Our team spearheads the creative direction of TurboTax’s brand identity.
You are a multi-disciplinary problem-solver with experience in brand or motion studios, who thrives on creativity and invention, someone who believes in the power of design to change the world for the better.

How you’ll lead
- Push creative boundaries. We believe our best work is always our next work. Not content to rest on last year’s success, you are plugged in to culture and get excited by new trends to help TurboTax breakthrough creatively
- Inspire your team through design and establish the bar for design thinking and execution
- Cultivate, guide, and lead your team with a strong point of view and creative vision
- Concept, iterate, prototype and test in an effort to deliver strategic, elegant and simple solutions
- Build and manage client partnerships from project kickoff to timely delivery
- Visually and verbally communicate concepts and strategy behind your work
- Lead a project and internal or external team autonomously with limited process and hierarchy in place
- Balance multiple project assignments or business challenges with a steady disposition
Qualifications
- A world-class portfolio demonstrating high proficiency in delivering strategically grounded thinking across art direction, design, and animation with details on your specific role and contribution. We’d like to see examples that showcase your work across various brand identities and 360 campaign experiences
- Proven experience collaborating with internal teams and partnering with clients. You’ll partner with copywriters and product designers, strategists and channel leads to dream up big ideas and drive the visual identity and art direction and design craft across brand touchpoints
- An audience-first approach to your craft. We’re customer obsessed and use direct customer interviews to fall in love with our customers’ stories to inspire our creativity
- 8+ years relevant experience in visual design with a focus on crafting systems and marketing experiences for brands, campaigns, and events either at agencies or in house
- Deep knowledge and skills in visual design, UI and UX design, and typography
- Fluency in current industry design and prototyping tools
- A curious student of emerging technologies that in turn applies and drives innovation in the work you lead and create
- Strong strategic thinking with awareness of the project lifecycle, necessary timelines, business challenges and team communication
- Strong presentation skills. You’ll not only bring cross-functional partners on board with your ideas, you’ll also build alignment with senior leadership
- An understanding of how-to art direct and design within a visual and motion identity systems while bringing fresh, creative thinking to challenge the status quo creatively
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $171500-232000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
