Intuit is seeking a visionary and high-impact Director of Engineering to lead the Credit Karma (CK) engineering organization in Bengaluru, India. As the CK team scales from 38 to approximately 70 FTEs by the end of FY26, this leader will play a critical role in the integration of the Consumer Group Product Development (CG-PD) organization, which totals over 230 members in India. The leader will be at the forefront of driving technical strategy and execution for North America’s leading financial products, focusing on creating seamless, AI-driven experiences that power prosperity for millions of consumers across tax, money management, and personal finance.




Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

This role demands a technical leader with a deep understanding of platform architecture and a proven rack record in delivering scaled consumer offerings.

Product Development Leadership: Serve as the primary PD leader for critical CK business verticals, including:

o CK Plus (Subscription): Drive the execution of subscription products to create durable revenue and gain unit growth.

o Home (HELOC & Refi): Accelerate Home vertical revenue by providing members with frictionless, high-certainty offers.

o Marketing Technology: Lead the technology strategy for CK’s marketing platforms.

Insurance: Support teams focused on Auto (including telematics), Life, and Home insurance.

AI & Data Science Support: Partner with Data Science and AI teams to enhance growth,discoverability, and offer personalization across the entire Credit Karma ecosystem.

Technology Strategy & Vision: Lead the target state technical architecture for durable, scalable, and delightful capabilities across mobile, web, and desktop, leveraging AI-powered solutions.

Operational Excellence: Champion high operational standards, ensuring applications are secure, available, scalable, resilient, and performant.

People Leadership: Recruit, coach, and grow a high-performing team of engineers and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and engineering excellence.

Boundary-less Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with counterparts in Product Management, Design, and Data Science to bring the product vision to life.

Key Metrics for Success:

Subscription Growth: Drive the adoption of the CK & TurboTax subscription service from 0 to 500k subscribers in FY26.

Revenue Acceleration: Increase Home vertical revenue by 2x in FY27.

Execution Excellence: Deliver product roadmaps with quality and speed, ensuring exceptional technical craft and developer delight.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience: 18+ years in the software industry, with at least 7+ years in an executive leadership role scaling high-performing teams.

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern platform architecture, SaaS/PaaS products, and the mobile/web/desktop ecosystems.

Strategic Impact: Proven track record of developing technical strategies that drive significant business growth and leverage AI to transform customer experiences.

Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to influence senior leaders across functions and make swift, informed decisions regarding short and long-term goals.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
