Come join the Quickbooks Acquisition Marketing Team as the Group Manager of Holistic Search Strategy & Marketing responsible for the growth of the QuickBooks suite of products via our paid and organic search. As the leader of the search team, your responsibility is full ownership and management of the holistic search experience driving aggressive growth both short term and long. This role requires strong cross-discipline leadership skills, as you will partner closely with our marketing, analytics, finance, content, and web teams to deliver best in class experiences that drive key business outcomes.

The QuickBooks Acquisition Marketing Team is seeking a seasoned leader who has a proven track record in developing forward looking SEM/SEO strategies and driving high growth returns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a holistic SEM/SEO strategy that aligns with the company's overarching business goals and drives revenue growth
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the search team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators
  • Oversee and optimize our search agency of record, including scope of work, partner relationships and tech stack
  • Serve as a thought leader by keeping pace with evolving industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging best practices to incorporate into the holistic search strategy for growth
  • Oversee and optimize search campaigns, with a focus on generating high-quality traffic and maximizing conversions
  • Effectively manage and allocate the holistic search budget across paid, organic and non-working expenses to ensure optimal return on investment and efficient resource utilization
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance ad quality scores, click-through rates, and conversion rates based on thorough performance analysis
  • Leverage analytics tools to track key performance metrics, extract actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with key stakeholders across marketing, finance, and analytics to develop and execute a comprehensive search strategy, including forecasting, measurement, and performance analysis
  • Partner closely with marketing and content teams across geographies to seamlessly integrate SEM/SEO strategies into broader marketing campaigns
  • Utilize analytics platforms to measure and report on SEM/SEO effectiveness, presenting key findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Continuously refine SEM/SEO strategies based on performance data, A/B testing, and market analysis to achieve improved outcomes and maximize impact
  • Explore applications of AI to drive innovation within the holistic search team and across partner teams

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in SEM/SEO and digital marketing
  • Demonstrated thought leadership showcasing intellectual curiosity and strong communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams
  • A strong passion for innovation in paid and organic search, with a data-driven mindset that challenges assumptions and embraces testing to validate the effectiveness of strategies
  • Possess a strong point of view on the future of search and the ability to translate that vision into actionable strategies
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Google advertising campaigns with substantial budgets
  • Ability to work effectively with business leaders on forecasting, budgeting, sensitivity analysis, and business modeling
  • A creative problem-solver who can think on their feet and combine technical and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with analyzing large volumes of performance data to extract insights, interpret trends, and inform strategic decisions
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and leading SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex SEM/SEO strategies to diverse audiences
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEM best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus or equivalent relevant experience

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $201,000-271,500, Southern California $191,000-258,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
