Job Overview

Come join the Global Business Solutions Group - Product Development, as a Principal Technical Program Manager for GBSG Product Technical Program Management Group.  The GBSG Technical Program Manager’s Mission is to accelerate the outcomes of the GBSG Product organizations by driving for clarity among chaos and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity.

Responsibilities

  • Connect the dots across various programs within a portfolio to simplify the ‘why/what/how’
  • Highly capable in stakeholder management and strong capability to build strong relationships
  • Be a part of the Portfolio Leadership Team to unblock/guide program teams’ delivery
  • Identify and/or simplify portfolio level processes enabling the org to operate smoothly
  • Strong ability to enable the core team manage dependencies at scale through structure and right sized processes
  • Develop a program structure and lead a program operating cadence to bring together technically complex, cross-organizational teams
  • Ability to connect the technical dots with ease
  • Drive creation of program roadmaps and execution plans across all phases of planning, development, and production readiness and launch.
  • Collaborate with leaders in executive teams, product management, engineering, and other groups to achieve program goals
  • Quickly pinpoint and resolve critical issues/risks. Clearly communicate actionable solutions, striking an effective balance between business needs and technical limitations.
  • Share executive level program status, risks, dependencies, and change control information across the organization and at all levels.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels leading to quick decisions
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills with ability to influence without authority
  • Result oriented strong team player with ability to anchor stakeholders to primary objectives and outcomes
  • Strategic thinker and effective communicator
  • Thrive in establishing order and clarity amongst ambiguity and chaos
  • Highly collaborative with desire to continuously streamline and improve processes where needed
  • Ability to scale up to at least 10 scrum teams and comfortably work boundaryless with cross functional teams
  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently

Qualifications

  • Strong Program Management experience, including 10 or more years leading program portfolios and highly complex technical initiatives
  • Excellent influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to influence at all levels and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.
  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences visually communicating goals of program, relationship to business goals, and other relevant success criteria.
  • Great understanding of SaaS technologies or demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs with Kanban, Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Embraces AI in your day to day activities
