Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Web Developer with expertise in QA Automation and Front End Web Development to support our web development and testing projects. The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop QA automation scripts, monitor the platform, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes, ensuring that all aspects of the website are running smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of web developers, designers, engineers, and marketers to manage content, maintain quality standards, and resolve any issues that may arise. They will also collaborate with contractor resources to delegate tasks and streamline our automation tools. This role requires flexibility, agile thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA Automation building and front-end web development, with strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of UX, SEO, and web experiences. In addition, this role requires the candidate to maintain 24/7 monitoring of the website's performance and functionality through our QA system and address any issues that may arise outside regular business hours or during holidays. Responsibilities

  • Develop QA automation scripts and monitor the website
  • Troubleshoot site problems and implement fixes
  • Coordinate QA/UAT and other teams for testing, releases, and integration
  • Ensure established quality standards are met
  • Establish dashboards and monitoring
  • Document and track issues and bugs
  • Identify QA testing requirements to reduce PD dependencies
  • Monitor web pages every day by automating the regression test scenarios
  • Manage content and accuracy of product information, content, and images
  • Set up and oversee A/B testing
  • Identify and problem-solve roadblocks to task completion
  • Develop solutions and recommendations for improving the platform and configurations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments
  • Support E2E initiatives and experimentation
  • Oversee and execute web migrations
  • Gather requirements for new platform capabilities
  • Scale teams with process and technology workflow experience
  • Drive executional excellence through documentation, templates, and requirements
  • Support special projects as needed
  • Detailed documentation of defects found during test execution
  • Reporting of test execution results.
  • 24/7 monitoring - occasional off hours and holidays if issues arise.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in front end web development and QA automation
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field of study, or equivalent experience
  • Experienced with various platforms and vehicles, such as In Product Discovery, SaaS, Paid Search, Display, Email, Affiliates, and Social and Mobile platforms, as well as Web Properties and Relationship Marketing
  • Experiments using both data/segmentation and content to create personalized experiences. Experience with IXP or other experimentation solution platforms required.
  • Experience with a Content Management Software platform such as Magneto, Joomla, Adobe, etc., with strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking to determine the best course to take
  • Extensive experience solving cross-browser compatible front-end web experiences with React.js, HTML5, CSS3
  • Awareness of web performance considerations
  • Strong knowledge of UX, SEO and other factors that impact web conversions
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and passionate and curious about finding opportunities for process improvement and technology
  • Flexible and agile with the ability to adapt quickly and be effective in new situations
  • Experience working in an Agile or SCRUM environment
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytic skills

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $120,000-162,500, Southern California $113,500-154,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
