Do you love AI? Are you a passionate designer that loves to collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and data scientists?

Come join our team at Intuit as a Senior Product Designer. You will be helping to unleash the power of AI for our strategy to be an AI-driven financial expert platform. We are in the early stages of building up the user experience so you will be responsible for setting the foundations and delivering the vision.

Responsibilities

Using your exceptional design vision and craftsmanship, you will drive and execute in a fast-paced environment to experiment, test, and deliver self-serve experiences that will make working with intelligent systems delightful. Specifically you will:

  • Apply design thinking to complex AI/ML/data/analytics problems and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize across user needs, business goals, and technological realities
  • Transform abstract concepts and technical details into clear and compelling designs that innovate
  • Test with users for rapid iterations
  • Deliver visions, storyboards, presentations, detailed interaction specs, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Communicate designs effectively to leaders, partners, and customers
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver engineering-ready designs

 

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $148,500-201,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or relevant field; Master’s preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Deep knowledge of design principles and methods
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Expertise conveying ideas and solutions through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, XD
  • An updated online portfolio
  • Bonus: Background or experience with enterprise and data products, HTML/CSS prototyping skills
