Job Overview
About the Developer Relations Team
At Intuit, our Developer Relations Team is dedicated to enabling developer success and driving cloud native innovation. We build strong, inclusive communities where developers can explore, innovate, and thrive while leveraging Intuit’s cutting-edge cloud technologies. Our mission is to bridge the gap between our advanced cloud platforms and the developers who bring them to life, shaping the future of service development and cloud native ecosystems.
About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Developer Advocate to lead engagement within Intuit’s cloud native and service development communities. As a senior member of the team, you will play a critical role in defining strategies for developer enablement, and amplifying our presence within open source and cloud native ecosystems.
Your work will not only shape Intuit’s internal development experience but also extend to broader industry conversations around Kubernetes, Argo, Istio, GenAI, and modern cloud architectures. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure developer feedback influences our platform's evolution while also advocating for best practices in cloud native and service development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Execute Advocacy Strategies – Develop and drive initiatives that inspire and engage cloud native developers, accelerating adoption of Intuit’s cloud native and GenAI offerings.
- Create Technical Content – Develop blogs, tutorials, videos, webinars, and conference talks to educate and engage platform developers.
- Engage with Open Source Communities – Actively participate in and contribute to projects such as Argo, Istio, Numaproj and Kubernetes while strengthening Intuit’s presence in these ecosystems.
- Represent Intuit Publicly – Speak at industry events, conferences, and meetups to champion cloud native innovation and developer empowerment.
- Build and Nurture Developer Communities – Drive engagement through forums, social media, and open source contributions, ensuring a thriving ecosystem around cloud native technologies.
- Measure Impact – Implement a metrics-driven approach to advocacy, tracking community growth, content engagement, and adoption of Intuit’s cloud native solutions.
- Act as a Thought Leader – Stay ahead of industry trends, championing emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation within Intuit and the broader cloud native community.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud native and AI technologies.
- Proven track record of creating impactful technical content (blogs, conference talks, workshops, live streaming, etc.) that resonates with developers.
- Exceptional public speaking skills with experience presenting at major conferences, webinars, and technical events.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud native, microservices, and cloud architectures. Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure is highly desirable.
- Experience mentoring and leading teams, fostering growth, and building a high-impact advocacy program.
- Ability to measure and analyze advocacy success through community engagement, content impact, and product adoption metrics.
- Passion for open source contributions and a strong presence in developer forums and cloud native communities.
- Self-motivated, curious, and always learning—passionate about new technologies and driving innovation.
- Willingness to travel to represent Intuit at events and engage with developers globally.
