Job Overview

The Global Business Solutions Group Product Growth team represents a new approach to accelerating business outcomes through a data-driven and surgical approach to product funnel optimization. Focused on driving progress on the most critical opportunities across the business, our team combines deep analytics, customer discovery, rapid execution, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize key product funnels. Our work also establishes foundational growth frameworks and platform level investments that serve as a center of excellence and empower the broader organization. This team and its charter are being built from the ground up, with a relentless focus on assembling world-class growth talent passionate about defining the future of Product Growth at Intuit. As a Principal Product Manager on the Product Growth team, you will lead the identification and execution of high-impact growth initiatives, balancing rapid experiments for immediate results with long-term investments that drive scalable growth across business units and ultimately the company. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution of critical product funnel optimizations, leveraging data and experimentation to deliver measurable outcomes. In this role, you will guide a dedicated pod of Engineering, Design, and Data Science teammates, ensuring alignment and excellence in execution across the organization. As the Growth function continues to scale, this role also offers opportunities to take on broader leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

● Strategic Vision and Leadership:

○ Identify, define, and own the growth strategy for prioritized funnels, aligning with key business objectives.○ Set a clear vision and roadmap for growth initiatives across multiple time horizons, working closely with cross-functional partners to execute on that vision effectively.○ Serve as a lighthouse example for understanding, identifying, and executing high-impact growth work, setting a gold standard for growth practices across the Product organization

● Team Leadership and Collaboration:

○ Act as the central point of coordination for cross-functional teams, fostering strong collaboration and alignment across functions.○ Partner closely with other Product Managers and business leaders to ensure cohesive growth strategies across the organization.○ Provide mentorship and thought leadership within the team, creating a culture of high velocity, a bias for action, experimentation and shared learnings.

● Data-Informed Experimentation:

○ Partner with analytics and data science to uncover growth opportunities through data insights and opportunities to improve instrumentation and logging across GBSG’s portfolio of products.○ Establish and track key metric goals and countermetrics to ensure sustainable growth outcomes that are deeply customer centric.

● Execution and Innovation:

○ Drive execution of end-to-end experiments and feature improvements, maintaining a focus on velocity and measurable impact.○ Pilot innovative growth tactics that can scale across the organization, creating a blueprint for future pods.

● Scale the Function as a Center of Excellence:

○ While this role initially focuses on individual contributions and cross-functional leadership, there is a clear pathway to product leadership opportunities as the Growth function scales.

Qualifications

● 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of driving growth at scale through data-driven initiatives and experimentation.● Experience leading cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data science, and research.● Proven ability to work collaboratively with and influence other Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering leaders to drive outcomes.

Customer-Centricity and Business Acumen:

● Deep customer empathy and a strong commitment to customer centricity, serving as a fierce advocate for customer needs throughout the growth process.● Thorough understanding of business fundamentals and how growth metrics directly impact business outcomes, enabling alignment between product initiatives and organizational goals.

Analytical Rigor:

● Exceptional ability to analyze and synthesize data to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and measure outcomes.● Experience working closely with data science and analytics teams to uncover actionable insights.

Collaboration and Leadership:

● Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams across engineering, design, marketing, and analytics.● Effective communicator capable of aligning stakeholders and driving consensus in a fast-paced environment.

Execution Excellence:

● Bias for action, with a track record of delivering results through agile, iterative processes.● Ability to balance short-term wins with long-term growth strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in driving product growth within a large organization.● Familiarity with AI-driven optimization and personalization techniques.● Background in financial technology or B2B software serving the SMB segment.
