Job Overview

Come join the QuickBooks Marketing Team as a Senior Marketing Manager responsible for driving growth of QuickBooks Online through our valuable and influential network of accountants. In this role, you will be responsible for driving analysis to identify opportunities to accelerate performance for these service offerings, as well as, monitoring and communicating the health of the business within a high growth portfolio. 

Responsibilities

What you will bring:

  • 5-7 years leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives. Product marketing experience desired, but not required. Will consider equivalent roles in marketing, consulting, product analytics, financial planning & analysis, corporate strategy and sales
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to influence and shape strategic conversations with data
  • Experience analyzing the trends of KPIs, especially relating to financial metrics and campaign performance, as well as, identifying the cause of any unexpected variance
  • Experience developing budgets, financial projections and/or operating forecasts
  • Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to both influence and develop strong partnerships at all levels. Ability to simplify stories with data, and be concise in the insights and how they drive outcomes with leadership and stakeholders
  • Comfortable analyzing diverse sets of data to develop insights; experience with quantitative data analysis
  • Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills
  • Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical few key points.
  • High intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset
  • Proficiency with Google docs, Excel, Tableau, A/B testing, SQL and other data analysis tools

Qualifications

How you will lead:

  • Manage the day-to-day business by deeply understanding what's driving our KPIs and business dynamics, projecting forward outlooks, developing plans to accelerate performance, and taking action to course-correct when needed.
  • Craft the narrative on business results and trends incl. weekly, monthly, quarterly business reporting, status reporting and root cause analysis
  • Understand business performance for key GTM activities (e.g. marketing campaigns, product launches, sales activities)
  • Identify and drive mitigation levers and drive alignment with leaders/teams on relative priority; understand their effectiveness; scale or pivot if needed
  • Identify and drive opportunities to accelerate performance and drive alignment with leaders of cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, product, sales, analytics, finance) on priority initiatives
  • Serve as the marketing lead for annual and quarterly financial forecast planning process and assumptions

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $151000-204500, Southern California $144500-195000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
