Job Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. Our mission is to power prosperity around the world by helping customers put more money in their pockets, save time by eliminating work, and have confidence in every financial decision they make.

Our strategy is to be an AI-driven expert platform that brings together data, AI, and human expertise to deliver done-for-you experiences and fuel our customers' financial success. Across TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Intuit Enterprise Suite, and Intuit Accountant Suite, we are using technology to solve our customers' most important financial challenges at scale.

Intuit's Consumer Group is dedicated to powering prosperity by helping consumers improve their financial success. Through our consumer platform, we are transforming how customers manage some of the most important moments in their financial lives by combining world-class technology, AI, data, and human expertise.

Come join the Consumer Group Program Management Office as a Principal Technical Program Manager. This role will deliver strategic capabilities and experiences within the Consumer Group organization, a critical part of Intuit’s Consumer Ecosystem strategy to build deeper relationships with customers, and be a trusted part of customers’ financial journeys. Whether it is building financial foundations, optimizing wealth and protecting assets, or everything else in between. Our platform provides targeted guidance, experiences, and tools that proactively adapt to fit our members’ current situations and future intentions, delivering everyday value and meaningfully improving the financial health of the millions of members who depend on us.

We are looking for creative problem solvers and strong program leaders who can connect strategy to execution, lead cross-functional teams, and drive complex technical programs to successful outcomes.

As a Principal TPM, you will bring together business, product, and technology teams to develop and execute high-quality program plans, navigate risks and dependencies, and drive data-informed decisions. You will rapidly develop expertise in new technical domains, build trusted relationships across teams, and help teams deliver our highest-impact priorities with quality and speed.

Responsibilities

Portfolio & Strategic Leadership

Partner with Portfolio Leadership to unblock program teams and guide delivery across a broad and complex program portfolio.

Connect the dots across various programs to simplify the “why, what, and how” for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Influence prioritization and tradeoff discussions across Product and Engineering leaders to ensure teams focus on the highest-impact work.

Leverage AI tools and data insights to streamline program operations and accelerate execution velocity

Cross-Domain Execution & Dependency Leadership

Lead cross-team dependency forums across engineering domains, driving horizontal alignment across Consumer Group PD teams and partners.

Define and implement program frameworks and consistent operating cadences to ensure teams deliver with velocity and ease.

Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, architectural misalignment, and execution bottlenecks — driving data-informed decisions to resolution.

Drive cross-functional execution across multiple scrum teams, ensuring clarity on priorities, roles, and outcomes.

Roadmapping & Planning

Partner with engineering leaders to develop and maintain six-quarter capability roadmaps aligned to product and business strategies.

Ensure roadmaps clearly articulate technical investments, sequencing, and tradeoffs, and track progress against evolving priorities.

Translate business and platform strategy into clear program goals, milestones, and measurable success metrics.

Define and implement repeatable frameworks and processes that improve delivery speed, quality, and scalability across programs.

Stakeholder Communication & Culture

Drive transparency through clear, actionable communication at all levels — from engineering teams to Senior Leadership.

Build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Business Operations to lead through change and ambiguity.

Define and implement program management best practices; coach and mentor other TPMs to raise the bar across the organization.
