Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer 1 to join our Numaflow team at Intuit. You will work on building and evolving open-source, cloud-native data streaming infrastructure and developer tooling that powers real-time data pipelines at scale. You will also contribute to our next-generation Service Builder platform and agentic solutions and helping Intuit developers ship faster with seamless, AI-augmented experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Numaflow, an open-source, Kubernetes-native platform for building scalable data and AI pipelines

  • Build features for Service Builder that enable developers to ship services faster with less friction
  • Develop agentic solutions to automate developer workflows and improve the overall developer experience
  • Write clean, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews
  • Engage with and contribute to the open-source Numaflow community
  • Apply best practices in designing, building, and maintaining software systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with peers and learn from experienced team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Up to 2 years of industry experience (including internships)
  • Strong fundamentals in systems thinking, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving
  • Experience with or coursework in systems programming languages such as Rust, C++, or Go
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and a basic understanding of generative AI capabilities
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment


    Nice to Have

    • Open-source contributions or personal projects (e.g., GitHub)
    • Experience with Rust and/or Python
    • Internship or project experience in platform engineering or building agentic developer experiences
